Treasurer’s Report & Financial Summary ‘21-’22

TDUK has seen a large increase in the income from Activities which is to be expected due to coming out the previous years Covid-19 restrictions, however we have increased this compared to 2019/2020 which covered the first lockdown due to Covid-19.

We have also seen an increase in donations throughout 2020/2021 compared to previous years.

Taking in to account for Furlough grants during both 2020 and 2021 TDUK’s grant receipts have stayed similarly consistent for the level of activities over the last 4 years.

TDUK’s expenditure has increased in 2021/2022, this is partly due to the purchase of much needed equipment for our activities but also due to increases in payroll in line with rising inflation which we never expected to increase to current levels or anticipated the current cost of living crisis. If the current economic state and cost of living crisis continues wages will need to be review in the second half of 2022/2023.

Reserves for the charity have lowered over this year due to the above and TDUK should look at ways to replenish the reserves in the coming year.
